In loving Memory of Magnus Reed Shepherd.

 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Magnus Reed Shepherd, who was born on February 4, 2025, and returned home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The name Magnus means "great or mighty," while Reed signifies "red." Just as his name suggests, Magnus was our mighty little redheaded warrior. He was so strong in his fight all the way up until his final moments here with us. While his passing deeply saddens us, we rejoice in knowing he is now free from pain, made new and whole alongside our Savior, Jesus, in heaven.

During his brief time with us, Magnus brought immense joy, unity, and love into our lives. His testimony reached not only those close to us but also touched lives across the country, inspiring hundreds to come together in prayer and support. God used Magnus to bring us closer, and to strengthen our faith in His will for each one of us. Though he was small, the size of the fight in his heart has been an inspiration to all who stood by his side in battle. 

Magnus is survived by his loving parents, Colin and Camie, and his siblings: Cal, Hank, Channing, Chisholm, Ezekiel, and Mikell. He will forever be remembered for the warmth, light, and love he brought to our hearts. A small come-and-go memorial service to honor Magnus's life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 30089 Willow Walk Ln, Brookshire, TX 77423. We invite all to join us in celebrating his short but meaningful journey from 10 AM to 10 PM. The family kindly asks that no flowers be brought, just hugs.
